The Marbella Club Hotel was built in 1954 by Prince Alfonso of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and was used as his own private residence. It was then extensively renovated from the mid-1980s through to 2000.

This exquisite hotel offers 121 bedrooms and suites, which are spread over this beach-front resort. There are also 16 Andalusian-style villas throughout the 42,000 m2 with 10 acres of botanical gardens.

In 1999, the hotel completed its own private 18-hole golf course “The Marbella Golf & Country Club” which was designed by Dave Thomas, the renowned golf course architect. There is also a riding stable which can also be used by any of the hotel guests.

Head over to the Marbella Golf & Country Club to play the 18 hole course which was designed by Dave Thomas the renowned golf course architect.  With only a 20-minute hotel private transfer from the hotel, this course is located in an area of natural beauty with breathtaking views of the Sea and Mountains. Tee times are around 08.30am to 15.00pm in the summer and until 14.30pm in the winter months.
